Raymond James Charitable is committed to strategically investing in the communities it serves by supporting the work of nonprofits to expand opportunities and improve the quality of life in localities across its national footprint.

Inspired by Raymond James Charitable donors’ philanthropy, the Raymond James Charitable board of trustees created a grant program to provide grants to selected nonprofit organizations that exhibit a positive, enduring influence in their respective communities. 

The following criteria will be applied for this year’s grant:

  • Charity’s work must focus on food security efforts (ensuring individuals and households have stable, reliable access to sufficient, safe, affordable, and nutritious food)
  • Must be a U.S.-based 501c3
  • Latest annual expenses must be greater than $500,000 and below $3 million
  • Be in existence for more than 3 years
  • Must not be a previous recipient of this initiative (all previous grantees are listed below)
  • Must be nominated by a Raymond James associate or advisor who is engaged with the charity as a donor, board member, contributor or volunteer
  • Nominated charities may not include a school/college/university that the nominator or their children attended/attends, or a house of worship (unless the charity is being nominated for the programs they offer outside of religious services/sermons)
